Transition

This is my final week teaching. My last day is Thursday, May 28th. We will enjoy a special Gorge Celebration with our Vertical Team on Thursday and I will say goodbye for this school year. Ms. Bekah Tucker will be taking over my teaching duties for the remainder of the school year. She has many years of experience working with kids and has recently graduated with a Master's Degree in teaching from Concordia University. She is spending some time transitioning with us this week and is loving our class!

Little Jackson will be here any day now! Thank you so much for the fun baby shower this week and for such a wonderful school year. The kids in Mrs. Chiu's class are pretty outstanding and we have had such an exciting year learning about the people of the Gorge in depth and learning about one another. I am looking forward to coming back in the Fall and have already started to make some plans about our study of plants and animals of the Gorge. It'll be great!
