The class voted not to celebrate Valentine's Day this year. We will be celebrating the Chinese New Year with various projects and activities the last two weeks of February. I could use parent volunteers to set up the classroom on Thursday, February 18th (right after school) for part of the celebration we will have the following day. Please contact me if you are available to help.
The Chinese Garden Field Trip is Friday, February 19th. Admission is $3.00/person. Please email me if you are willing to help out on this trip.

COLD WEATHER REMINDER:
We give students as many opportunities as possible to go outside for recess and other activities. It is important that students dress appropriately for the, sometimes, cold and windy weather. I would suggest a warm coat, hat and gloves.
