Individual Projects

We've studied many wonderful things about plants and animals of the gorge this school year.

Before Spring Break, the students made a list of all of the things that they have learned about plants and animals of the Gorge. What a list--we've covered a lot of ground this year! I think we have ourselves quite the group of Naturalists, actually.

In March and April, the students were ask to choose a topic from this list that they want to study further. So far, we have worked on a research essay and a narrative written piece from the point of view of the topic. We'll also work on an art and poetry piece. Students will contribute to their collection of knowledge with a creative piece of their choice.
