Parent Volunteers Needed for Both Trips
Bridal Veil/Bonneville Dam Field Trip
As a way to enhance our study of the plants and animals of the Columbia River Gorge, we will be heading to Bridal Veil Falls and stopping by the Bonneville Dam to learn about the connections between the different layers of the forest and observe the spring salmon run.

Cost: Sack Lunch Needed
Oregon Zoo Trip
As a way to enhance our study of the Columbia Gorge native animals and plants, we will be heading to the Oregon Zoo to observe the animals of the Great Northwest and the world.
Date: Thursday, June 3, 2010
Time: Departing School at 8:20
Cost: $7.00/person

COLD WEATHER REMINDER:
We give students as many opportunities as possible to go outside for recess and other activities. It is important that students dress appropriately for the, sometimes, cold and windy weather. I would suggest a warm coat, hat and gloves.
