Plant Experts

We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the Buck Creek Trail on Larch Mountain yesterday. Students spent time hiking, plant hunting and plant identifying. We are so thankful to take all that we have learned in the classroom about the environment and attach it to real outdoor experiences, right here in the Columbia River Gorge. What a great place to live and go to school! Be sure to ask your kiddos about all the native plants they found in the Canopy, Understory and Forest Floor on this trail. We made quite an extensive list today! They truly are EXPERTS! Enjoy the photos!
